Are coaching centres a must for getting into IITs ?
not necessarily but a mentor who is able to guide you, who has been in the field , an ex-IITian maybe is .
As wild_sid already commented. I think taking a test series will help you to check your performance and rank yourself. After all its a competition, you should be regularly checking/measuring your preparation. But do take test in advance so that in case you need to join any coaching class you can do well ahead of time rather than regretting later. Just doing self-study and visiting some teacher for problem-solving on a weekly/montly basis should suffice as well. Good luck.
it isn’t necessary to be in coaching centre. In fact these bound us to think as they think. If one is capable and have resources like good teachers and books then he can do by himself and obviously its better than coaching centres.
they r not necessary u can buy study material, take test series. there r many who go to these centers but r not able to secure any seat
Yes, as Roma said they will definitely help you to know some short cuts and time saving tips.
