I have a bunch of lessons and tests in my workspace, but my students cannot find it. How do I get this visible to the people that I want to invite?

How do you add students to a class.

Do you have a manual that we can read – those tutorials are very brief and do not answer the questions.

    Hi Beth,

perhaps I can answer your questions. When you go to your lesson-list, you can open your lesson in “Edit-view” by clicking on “Edit”.

Now you can choose from the right column if you want to do a “private sharing”, i.e. if you want to use this lesson only in a course, or if you want to do a “public sharing”, i.e. you want to share this lesson with courses AND communities.

After you decided what to do, you now can choose the courses and/or the communities to share the lesson with. You may choose from the communities you joined and/or the courses you created.

Now you decide about the way you want your work be copyrighted by choosing the option that seems to fit best for you.

At last you now choose how to publish your lesson:

If you choose “Publish”-No, which is chosen by default, your lesson will stay private!

You will have to click the “Publish – Yes”-radiobutton to actually publish your lesson!

    Hope this helped.

Peter, thank you. I’ve been trying to muddle through this too. However, the system doesn’t seem to be saving my changes to private (so that it only goes to a course). When I go back to the course and click on lessons, it says there are none. If I go in and edit and drag and drop the lessons into the course and save, then go in to look, there STILL are none there.

You are right, I tested it myself – that is a bug. I will write a ticket for that …

Good catch Mary… I’ve notified the development team and they are looking at it right now.

It should be fixed very soon.
