We’re currently working out the best plan to embed YouTube (and other media) into lessons. I will make sure it’s well known when it’s working.

Hi Nellie, You can invite people to your course through the course editor, that is also where you add course content (lessons, videos, tests, presentations). You can also publish a course to as many communities as you like, you only have to be a member, it will then show up in that communities martketplace. This is also found within the course editor.

Where does the link within the e-mail take you when you view your friends e-mail notification?

We don’t want to flood people with too many e-mail notifications, discussions can lead to plenty of notification e-mails that can fill up your inbox. We are planning to have the ability to edit what e-mail notifications you get, so if you really wish to add it, you will be able to. This should be very soon.

The first thing that I thought was overwhelming was the fact the some pages are laid out in a three column design. First thing I thought of was bad layout conventions by Andy Rutledge.

I have a hard time to get some clients to use BaseCamp because they find even just two columns overwhelming, so three column is just yahoo splash mania.

I was really confused to see that when you create lessons that the area of context (where you write) was on the right instead of the left.

The web-site no doubt looks beautiful. It visually communicates really well. I think there is more work needed in visually organizing the web-site.

Really great work, looks like the Savvica team put a-lot hard work into this web-app.

At the moment, no, but we plan to incorporate that feature in the coming weeks as we see it an important aspect of courses.

Unfortunately, you can only edit a debate or discussion within the creation time frame, which is about 5 mins. After that time frame has passed, you can not edit your post. We are considering fixing this and allowing users to edit their comments unless someone has quoted a post like I have done here.

As for deleting, you can’t at the moment. This is also another thing we are considering in a future deployment. For now, if you need a discussion deleted, you can support@learnhub.com and I will delete it for you.

Go to your email preferences (http://learnhub.com/user/account/email_addresses) and there is a link to resend the confirmation email. If you are not receiving the confirmation email in your inbox, then it might have been directed to your junk mail folder.

Sorry, but i can’t find the link to have the confirmation resent… please advise. Also, there seems to be some sort of bug that won’t let me pick Wysiwig editing. It keeps switching back to the other option when i try to save my preferences. Thanks

Once a test is published, the system begins to track the tests statistics. So adding another question is impossible as it would throw off all the statistics. Make sure your test is fully complete when publishing. I suggest creating a new test and removing the old one.

I experienced exactly the same since some days to be honest and thought it just happened to me! My lessons also don’t show up on my community website and furthermore it shows my text twice (in the frame and outside the frame). I was thinking of presenting them as PowerPoint files but that is quite time consuming…... I also contacted the support@Learnhub.com as well as Adam but unfortunately I’m also still waiting. I’m sure the problem will be sorted out soon.

This delay allows your content to be stored in the database and allows the community to load a lot faster for everybody.

If you’re looking for your lesson on the main community page, the lesson widget only lists the top 7 lessons published to that community. You will need to click the Lessons tab to see all the lessons :)

When you switch between the RTF and the Textile editor, you must create a new lesson in order to see the changes.

For example, if I create a lesson page using the Textile Editor, it will always remain a textile lesson. If I change my settings to RTF, any lessons I create will be a RTF but the previous lessons I created will remain a textile lesson.

I am guessing you created a textile lessons, switched to RTF and it remains textile. Create a new lesson with the RTF selected and you will have all the formatting options available.

Try that out and get back to me! :)

Did I already mention that I logged in from different PCs in my house and when this didnt resolve it, then even drove to a friend's house and logged in from there.
In the end I've created a new user account under a different name, set the editor to textile and I can get the menu.   I guess something has fouled up my original account settings .
It's a nuisance as I've created communities under my original account name and I'll have to try and  transfer them to the new account.
