Playing Trivia
Q. What is trivia?
|
Trivia is a bank of user-created ‘brain-teaser’ questions that you can create and or answer. With hundreds of multiple choice questions to answer in a variety of educational topics (Science, Math, Cooperative Learning, Photography, and more) you will be entertained for hours. Create your very own Trivia questions and test the knowledge of other LearnHub members. |
Q. How do I start playing trivia?
|
Firstly, you must either log in to LearnHub or sign up for an account before playing Trivia. ![]() If you prefer to play Trivia in a specific topic, such as Science, you can find the Trivia widget within the community of choice. Answer a question through the widget and you will be automatically taken into the trivia section where you can answer many more topic specific questions. ![]() |
Q. I don’t see any trivia questions in my community, what’s going on?
|
Either there are no published trivia questions to that specific community or you have already answered all the trivia questions published to that specific community. |
Q. Can I view how well I’ve done in trivia?
|
Every time you answer a users trivia question, your statistics are logged. You can see how many trivia questions you’ve completed, your total accuracy percentage, as well as how many you’ve answered correctly. |
Q. Can I see my Trivia score ranking?
|
Unless you are in one of the coveted top 10 trivia spots, you can’t see your ranking. Feel free to privately message your fellow contacts and ask them what their overall percentage is. |
Q. Can I view other members Trivia statistics?
|
At this time, no. Other members trivia scores are private. |

Follow that by clicking the ‘Yes’ to publish. Click save, and your question will be available for anyone to enjoy. ![]() Remember, you must be a member of the community in order to publish your trivia/question bank question to it. |
Q. Can I publish my question to multiple communities?
|
No, you can only publish your trivia question to one community. |
Q. Can I edit my question?
|
Yes. Under the Trivia tab, click the question you wish to edit and click “Edit”. You will be able to edit the community it is shared under, the possible answers, the correct answer choice, as well as the question. Please note, however, that you cannot edit the number of answers available to choose from if it already has been published. |
Q. Can I delete my question?
|
Yes. You access the deletion ability in your trivia question listings. You can find this by clicking the ‘Trivia’ tab in your Workspace. From there all you need to do is click the red x in order to delete the question. ![]() |
Q. Can I view my question statistics?
|
Of course. You can view your trivia questions statistics in a pie format. You do this by accessing your trivia question listings through your Workspace. Unfortunately no, you can only publish to one community. But this seems to be a highly requested feature, so we are highly considering implementing this.
Lechuck, that was a useful lesson. can u please also explain how to create questions for the question bank of any community?
In order to create questions for a question bank you simply create and publish trivia questions as you would normally, into the specific community. For instance, gre.learnhub.com. In order for a community to be considered a Question Bank, LearnHub staff must enable the app.
If you are adding questions to a community that already has the Question Bank app enabled, just publish your trivia questions there. If the community doesn’t already have the Question Bank app enabled, just e-mail me and request it at support@learnhub.com.
