Help: Creating and Publishing Lesson Pages
As you know, there are three types of lessons: Videos, Presentations and Pages. This lesson will show you how to create a Lesson Page. If you wish to create other types of lessons, visit the Help: Presentation and Help: Video Lesson.
How do I create a new lesson page?

How do I change my preferences for Rich Text or Pro Editor?
Log into your Learnhub account and click on the “Account” link at the top right hand corner. Under the Preferences tab in the Page Editor box, you can select one of those two options. After you save your preference changes, any lesson pages you create from that time forward will be under that specific editor.
What’s the difference between the Rich Text and Pro Editor?
By default, your lesson editor will be set to Rich Text editor which is an emulation of a word processor. In order to do advanced styling such as Equations, Tables, and HTML, you must use the Pro Editor which uses Textile Syntax and HTML code.
How do I upload and format images, format text, etc. when creating my lessons?
Learn how to upload and format in the default Rich Text editor by visiting the How to: Rich Text Editor lesson.
To learn how to use the more advanced Textile Pro Editor, go Help: The Textile “Pro” Editor lesson.
Can I write Math and Science Equations?
Yes! There is a great guide on writing equations found here.
How do I save my lesson?
Your lesson will be automatically saved every few minutes. If you want to manually save it, just click your “Save” button at the very top of the editor. You will receive a message, “Page Saved”.
How do I edit a lesson I’ve already created?
You can click the “edit” button found next to your lesson in your Workspace lesson listing.
How do I delete one of my lessons?
You can delete your lesson by clicking the red x in your Workspace lesson listing.
What are the Licenses?
In order to protect your content from other users modifying or sharing it outside of LearnHub you should add the appropriate Creative Commons License to your lesson.
For more information on Licenses view the Licenses lesson, and join the Creative Commons community.
You can also watch two videos on what Creative Commons is here, and here.
Can I upload .PDFs to my lessons?
Absolutely. To the left of the lesson editor, below the Photos uploader, you will find the Reference Material (PDF) uploader. From there you can attach any .pdf file to your lesson which is viewable through the browser. You can also allow users to download the .pdf if you choose.
In terms of content sharing, the information below applies to all three types of lessons: Video, Presentations and Pages.
How do I share my lesson with communities?
You may share your lesson with as many communities as you wish.
To do so, simply click the “Public Sharing” bullet and then add a check mark next to the communities you wish to share the lesson in. After, click the “Yes” bullet in the Publish box found near the bottom.
Remember, your lesson wont show up until you’ve published it.
How do I publish my lesson?
You can publish your lesson by selecting the “Yes” bullet in the publish box.
How do I unpublish my lesson?
You can easily unpublish it by selecting the “No” bullet in the publish box.
I don’t want my lesson to be viewed by the public, what do I do?
Until you Publish your lesson, it will remain private. You can also choose the “Private Sharing” option.
How do I publish my lesson to a course, but not a community?
You can do this by choosing the “Private Sharing” bullet. A list of your courses will appear. You can simply check mark the courses you wish to publish the lesson within.
The lesson will show up in your Lesson lists. Unless a user is enrolled in your course, they will not be able to view it.
To learn how to add lessons to a course, view the How to: Courses.
